Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Paxuna collects, why, and how you stay in control. It follows PIPEDA and, in Québec, Law 25.
1. Who is responsible
Paxuna is responsible for the personal information processed in the app. A person in charge of privacy answers your questions and requests.
2. Information we collect
Your name and email address; the information you enter or import (transactions, receipts, accounts, profiles, province, tax registrations); technical data needed for operation and security (session, device).
3. Why we use it
To provide the service, sort your transactions, prepare your reports and exports, secure your account, send transactional emails and improve the app using aggregated measures without financial content.
4. Consent
We ask for your explicit consent before personal information leaves your device for an AI service, before any bank connection and before any sharing with an expert. You can withdraw consent at any time.
5. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your information. We use providers for hosting, email, payments, bank connection and AI, bound by contract to confidentiality and security.
6. Where data is stored
Your data is hosted on servers we operate. Some providers may process information outside Québec or Canada; we then assess the risks and require adequate protection.
7. Retention
We keep your information while your account is active, then delete it unless the law requires us to keep it. Deleting your account also erases your files.
8. Security
Encrypted connections, bank tokens encrypted on the server, protected sessions and logs without amounts or receipt content. No system is perfect: we will notify you of any incident posing a risk of serious harm.
9. Your rights
You can access your information, have it corrected, export it, withdraw consent or delete your account. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or Québec’s Commission d’accès à l’information.
10. Cookies
Paxuna only uses cookies needed for your session, language and active profile. No advertising cookies.
