These terms govern your use of Paxuna, a progressive web app for organizing personal and business finances offered in Canada. By creating an account, you accept them.
1. The service
Paxuna helps you capture, sort and track your transactions, receipts, budgets and goals, in one or more financial profiles (Personal, Self-employed, Business). Some features depend on your plan.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly about any unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use Paxuna lawfully, not to try to access other people’s data, not to disrupt the service and not to misuse it for fraud.
4. General information only
Paxuna’s content, calculations and suggestions are general information. They are not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice. For your situation, consult a qualified professional.
5. Artificial intelligence features
Receipt reading, transcription and the assistant may rely on AI providers, only with your consent when personal information leaves your device. Their output may contain errors: review it before saving.
6. Bank connection
Bank connection is optional and goes through a specialized provider. Access is read-only: Paxuna can’t move your money. You can disconnect a bank at any time.
7. Experts and sharing
Experts listed on Paxuna are independent professionals. They only access your data with your permission, for the scope and duration you choose, and you can revoke that access.
8. Liability
We make reasonable efforts to provide a reliable and secure service, without guaranteeing it will be free of interruptions or errors. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts paid for the service in the previous twelve months.
9. Ending your use
You can delete your account from the settings: your data and files are then erased. We may suspend an account for a serious breach of these terms.
10. Changes
We may change these terms. For any material change, we will tell you in the app and ask you to accept them again.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of your province or territory of residence and the federal laws of Canada. Your rights under consumer protection law remain.
